La galleria, situata nel cuore di Milano, presenta una selezione di eccezionali opere d'arte giapponesi.

Accanto all’arte samuraica tra cui figurano spade, tsuba (else di spada) e armature si potranno trovare nestuke, oggetti in lacca, paraventi e sculture buddiste.

La galleria partecipa annualmente alla New York Asian Week, una delle più importanti manifestazione al mondo riguardo l’arte orientale che si tiene ogni primavera a New York, ed è membro attivo della International Netsuke Society.

Aperta dal 2005, negli anni si è affermata come punto di riferimento nel collezionismo internazionale contribuendo alla formazione di importanti collezioni sia private che museali.

 

Giuseppe Piva Japanese Art gallery is located in the heart of Milan, a short walk from the Fashion district and only a few meters from the subway station "San Babila". 

The gallery presents an extraordinary selection of art pieces: next to Samurai's art which includes swords, tsuba and armors, you can also find nestuke, lacquerware, folding screens and Buddhist sculptures.

The gallery participates every year to the New York Asia Week, the most important event worldwide concerning Oriental art which is held every spring in New York, and is an active member of the International Netsuke Society.

Open since 2005, Giuseppe Piva has established over the years as a landmark between international collectors, contributing to the formation of important private and public collections.
